Shamu my Armadillo, I knew I loved you the moment I saw you at the Shelter.  Your eyes, your eyes, I had seen those eyes before, oh yes, they were Sassy’s eyes looking right back at me.  You seemed so familiar with me and boy that woo woo woo sound.  Someone let you go which was our gain, what character you brought to our Sanctuary!  We’ve been so blessed by your presence & what a gift you gave to your Mom following Lily Bear’s final, unexpected transition,  You grew as a Medium with the ability of bringing the Mastiffs to visit oh so very briefly, you were envisioned  with a long, silver thread, somewhat of a scarf, guiding the Mastiffs across the Bridge, their aura & presence was felt, comforting & then you guided their return to the other side. Who would have ever expected that our Shamu would be our Medium & now you have joined them, how we miss you so very much.  For so many days, we could feel your presence, you lingered, we suspect because your Mom was unwilling to let you go.  We’re okay now, you are in our hearts & we know we must let you go to join the others.  Someday, your eyes will again meet your Mom’s eyes & she will know you have returned.  As you join the others, our beloved ones, we love you so very much.
