Sugarland Ranch, Inc. is a 501(c)3 community based organization with various animal related programs, including Honey Bear’s Country Kennels which is open to the public. We invite you to visit our website sugarlandranch.org for a full description of the various services we provide. We are accepting referrals for specialized boarding/kenneling services for special needs dogs and cats. Our rates are commensurate with the level of care that a companion pet needs and range from $50 to $125 per night. Examples of special needs include, but are not limited to:
- Post surgical care;
- Insulin administration with Owner approval that includes a Veterinarian
- prescription; and/or
- Neurologically impaired pets who may be non-ambulatory and need assistance walking and with bowel and/or bladder.
Our services include any care that the Owner would likely do at home and excludes any services that require a licensed Veterinary Technician or DVM. Transportation at an additional charge to/from outpatient physical therapy and/or DVM appointments is also available during the pet’s stay with us. Limited inpatient animal physical therapy services may be available with a DVM order on a case by case basis and at an additional charge during the Pet’s stay with us.
