To my beloved Medea,
You came to Sugarland in September, 2009. You were Mom’s girl from the beginning and right to the end. You stood by me, supported me when Jeruska left us, always by my side. And those beautiful eyes that Dr. Steele repaired as much as could be repaired, so you could finally see the world. With the help of our wonderful Veterinarians, your pain was effectively managed likely for the very first time and boy did we see a happier Medea come to life! You knew the power of human love and gave so much in return. Always so very cute, carrying toys in your mouth, wagging that beautiful tail and those beautiful brown eyes, soulful eyes, seemingly understanding everything that was said. I told you how much I loved you and you always let me know how much you loved your Mom and your new home. I see you in each and every twinkling star, each and every night in the desert skies. I sense that you are talking to me through this song, “STARS” so I listen to it late at night and I feel your beautiful presence which, will always be a part of me. I love you so very much my majestic and beautiful girl. You have joined the others and are lying next to Jeruska, watching over Sugarland, I can feel your regal presence. I love you baby………a piece of my heart will always be with you travel safe and free.
