Programs and Services

  • Individual play time in spacious play areas  that are supervised. Dogs from the same family play together; however, we do not mix Clients’ dogs with other Clients’ dogs for safety reasons. In addition to having doggie doors in each kennel, boarding dogs are taken out several times per day, supervised.  Since we are a relatively small kennel operation and since we live on-site, the dogs have constant contact with their human caretakers during their stay with us.
  • Large individual kennel spaces:  Doubles, queens or kings available. Pictures and approximate sizes are shown under “Boarding Rates” pull down menu.
  • Specialized meal service.  Robyn has cooked for her dogs for 30 years and hasn’t stopped yet. She prepares freshly baked chickens every other day that are carefully de-fatted, de-boned and if clients’ approve, may be added to their canine companions’ food.   Basmati rice is also prepared, green beans, pumpkin, doggie cookies and treats, all at no additional charge.  We maintain an inventory of high quality dry food; however, clients are welcome and encouraged to bring their own food since this is once less variable that changes with less stress on your Canine Friend’s GI tract.
  • Close observation of canine functions, e.g.,  loose stool that may occur during a dog’s boarding experience.  We rely on an accurate history from the Owner at check-in re: sensitive stomach and if their Canine Friend should develop a problem due to the dog’s anxiety or change of food, water, etc., we maintain protocols as recommended by Veterinarians that include specialized food, pre and probiotics and if necessary, contacting your DVM for counsel & orders, if these problems persist.  In some cases if a dog is known to have a history of gastrointestinal problems, we may request that the Owner bring with them whatever their Veterinarian prescribes anticipating that there could be a problem.
  • Consistent daily routine.  Our Canine Friends

know what to expect, when to expect and by whom.  This approach provides a comfortable atmosphere and they tend to be quite relaxed with very low sensory overload.  Even when the kennels are completely full, the noise level is contained and not overwhelming.

  • Clean, comfortable surroundings and daily laundry.  We disinfect the kennels on a daily basis and ensure that the kennel environment is maintained in a clean and acceptable manner with fresh water, fresh blankets.  We have two washing machines going most of the time in an attempt to maintain this goal.
