Clouseau's first day in our rescue program prior to starting his new diet, evaluation by the Veterinarian and lots of tender loving care by his new Foster Mom and Dad.  The picture depicts his severe orthopaedic problems requiring surgery and malnutrition.

Clouseau's Progress and start of his recovery starting with his CT scan, surgery, rehabilitation and the photo gallery at the end shows what he looks like today.

Here’s Clouseau during his CT scan procedure of both elbows.  It showed the  bone fragments that needed to be removed and helped Dr. Pelsue provide a better prognosis for the future.  The CT scan allows the Clinician to see “slices” through the targeted area and thereby provide improved diagnostics and prognosis.  Clouseau has a good shot at a very good prognosis following the appropriate rehabilitation.

Above is  Clouseau actually in surgery.  Dr. Davyd Pelsue and his Surgical Resident, Dr. Regina Schroeder who assists during surgery.

And below is Clouseau following surgery and during his recovery, on “Mommy’s” lap.  His Mom who is a first year Veterinary student, stayed with him throughout the procedure and recovery.  Clouseau is at home now and is continuing rehabilitation.

He is walking the best he ever has and the pain in his elbows, particularly the left elbow has been dramatically decreased.

Below shows Clouseau in the underwater treadmill during a therapy session with his new Dad, Tony.  He is making dramatic improvement with regular therapy.
